Join Lifeworks Global in supporting this event as a platform for global discussion on philanthropy.

National Philanthropy Day (NPD) has been celebrated across the US and Canada since 1986 and is now gathering momentum as a global event. The day marks the positive contribution of thousands of donors, innovators, volunteers and others engaged in philanthropic activities around the world, with the intention of promoting a fair, sustainable and thriving global community. NPD also precedes Giving Tuesday, on 1st December – another great opportunity to discuss the philanthropic movement.

Lifeworks Global is an innovative UK-based organisation with an impressive global reach. We champion and deliver tried and tested solutions through organisations on the ground, to address local needs and with the aim of building long-term sustainable communities. Lifeworks Global is part of new wave of organisations adopting a cutting edge approach to philanthropy. Founded in 2008, by Paul Manweiler, Lifeworks Global is seeking new high-profile funders to support its portfolio of projects, which are making a positive difference to communities worldwide.

We view National Philanthropy Day (and Giving Tuesday) as exciting opportunities to discuss all aspects of the philanthropic movement. In the run up to 15th November we are asking you to engage with the discussion: What are the challenges for philanthropy as a worldwide movement in 2015? What are the key global issues philanthropists need be addressing and why?
