Meeting the Need
Lifeworks Global funds and implements our solutions on the ground. We do this by providing soil amendment products (fertilizer and compost), service and education as a complete package. The initial implementation stage includes a three-day workshop delivered by our specialists. In advance of the workshop, we listen to the community’s needs and learn about their unique soil and crop requirements. We are then ready to provide customised training, which in most cases includes:
- Providing a foundational in sustainable agriculture.
- Sharing background knowledge of the products.
- Teaching best practices for application of the fertiliser and compost.
- Conducting initial trials and tests in the field.
After the workshop, we stay in close communication with community leaders to discuss results, share knowledge and answer questions. This period generally lasts two to three months and helps to build the confidence of farmers and agronomists.
We strive to develop long-term relationships of support, free from dependancies.
Expectations: after one season
Scaling Up
When a community is ready, Lifeworks Global returns to the village to assist in scaling agricultural successes. We work alongside farmers and partnership agencies to source and fund the purchase of fertilizer and composting products at a fixed and affordable rate.
While addressing these and any other issues that may occur during the scaling process, we focus on supporting the community to be self-sustaining, meaning that they are not dependent on us for future growth and success.
